Last night was a night of Wilmington’s best kept secrets.
One of those being, Unholy Tongues shows at Satellite. Satellite has a pretty good drink selection and plenty of outside/inside hang out space. There’s always a great crowd and they always have really good bands playing with them. I was really into the opening band, Long Division (in photo) from Norfolk, VA. Unholy Tongues is playing again this Thursday at the Soapbox.
Other best kept secrets: 75cent PBRs at Opera Room, rooftop decks, C.G. dawgs, swimming pools at 4am, late night bike rides, #insomnia.

I started helping out with @TGInterviews to shoot and edit band interviews so that I can learn more about the different features of my camera (Canon Vixia HF100), practice shooting techniques and learn/practice editing.

This is the first video I did for them. I’m not particularly satisfied with the way it came out. It’s so green! I should have set the white balance, which I learned how to do last night by doing another little project that I’ll post about later.

We did the interview in Jason’s (guitar/vocals of Photoclub) room which had pieces of his artwork displayed throughout. His work spans from photos to ceramics. He’s an extremely talented kid.
