The past 2 months flew by so fast even though they felt like they were dragging by so slow. At the same time it felt like I was doing a million things and nothing at all. Well here’s some updates and I’m really excited about this upcoming year… this upcoming month, even!

DEEP DOWN
Deep Down is the documentary film that I have been working with. It had it’s national television broadcast on PBS Independent Lens the week of November 22nd, airing on over 1000 stations across the country. They also launched their Virtual Mine, an educational/interactive game in Second Life.

BIBIS ELLISON
My friend Bibis performed at HearNC, a music video festival in Chapel Hill, yesterday (12/2) and asked me to create a video for her song “Safe & Soundless” to be played behind her while she’s performing. I just uploaded the video to vimeo, so I’ll post it once it’s done processing. Check out Bibis’ demo at: bibisellison.bandcamp.com

UNFORTUNATE UMBRELLAS
I was interviewed this week by Wilmington’s local alternative paper, Encore Magazine about my Unfortunate Umbrella photo project. This is actually perfect timing as I’m meeting with a local gallery today to talk about holding a collaborative art show featuring the umbrellas for the Spring. This will definitely give me the kick in the butt to move forward with this.

HOW-TO-FALL IN LOVE in 10 MINUTES OR LESS: a play series
My friend Nick asked me to write a screenplay for his series about love, but instead I am collaborating with Brad Land on one. He’s scribbled up notes and I’m transcribing & adapting it into a screenplay which will be performed in Spring 2011.
